TE Connectivity's (TE) 0.5mm Fine Pitch Hermaphroditic (FPH) Board-to-Board Connectors are smaller connectors that handle faster speeds. Designed to mate to itself, the series allows two of the same connectors to mate. With this unique hermaphroditic contact design, users do not need both plug connectors and receptacle connectors for board-to-board applications, eliminating half of the part numbers. This unique design can reduce costs and simplify the connector qualification, documentation, and maintenance processes.
