SMxJ Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) DiodesBourns SMxJ Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes come in compact chip package-size formats for surge and ESD protection applications. These diodes meet the needs of the portable communications, computing, and video equipment markets for increasingly smaller electronic components. The SMA6J, SMAJ, SMBJ, and SMCJ series all feature a surface-mount package design and standoff voltage from 5V to 495V. Bourns SMxJ TVS Diodes also provide power dissipation of 400W (SMAJ), 600W (SMA6J and SMBJ), and 1500W (SMCJ). The devices comply with IEC 61000-4-2 ESD (min. Level 4), IEC 61000-4-4 EFT, and IEC 61000-4-5 surge industry standards.
